Judge Brickhouse received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and her law degree from the University of Arizona in 1992.
Judge Brickhouse began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney. She then spent several years in private practice handlign civil rights and criminal defense cases. Next, she served as a DWI hearing officer and as a trial attorney for the City of Albuquerque.
Prior to law school, Judge Brickhouse was an officer in the Army.
