Dalley was born in Helena, Mont., and earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1998.
He worked in the Law Offices of the Public Defender in Aztec for two years after graduating before joining the Fortner, Whitehead and Thrower law firm in 2000.
In 2011, he opened his own law firm.
Dalley has lived in New Mexico since 1980 and served as the District 2 board member on the Board of Bar Commissioners.
Dalley holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bringham Young University in Provo, Utah and a Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque.
